INJURY LEVEL: C7
INJURY DATE: 9/19/2012

On September 19, 2012, I was in a car accident caused by anaphylactic reaction to a bee sting. After surviving the odds of living to tell about it, I was told I would never walk again. I put in many hours of Physical Therapy with determination but never quite reached the goals I was looking for. I needed a place that would push me to the next level. Race To Walk has challenged me and set me on the path to walk again. With the help of the personal trainers always encouraging me and my strong will to prove the doctors wrong, I went from the idea of being wheelchair bound for the rest of my life to now being able to walk with canes. NEVER let anyone tell you it can't be done or bash your hopes of recovery because anything is possible with the right attitude.
